Guys. Guys. Guys. I’m in the first photo. I Was a Hero are friends of mine and they are cool.

But Topher isn’t.

So this happened.

Bamboozle 2012. Some of these are serious, but most of them are a bunch of goofy ass ones for shits and giggles among weird kids who made friends with each other on the internet, and its what happens when we meet in person for the first time.

Its been quite some time since I’ve posted new photos for A Few Good Words. I’m sure some of you may be wondering what I’ve been up to.

I just sent out an email for something that should be happening at the end of the month. Some of you may already know what it is. I’m really excited to have this opportunity. I’m sure you guys will really enjoy it, and I hope you’ll show support.

I’ll be headed to Asbury Park on Friday for The Bamboozle festival. I’ll be there all weekend and will have everything I’ll need to work on A Few Good Words while I’m there, and I’m hoping that if you’re there you would like to participate. If you are going to Bamboozle and would like to participate, you can get in touch with me via Twitter on the handle @MikeYabs and we can absolutely set up a place to meet up on the festival grounds.

I should be receiving a couple more tracks for the compilation album being released in support of A Few Good Words. A lot of good friends of mine have been kind enough to write and record tracks exclusively for this comp, and I’m really excited to share it when the time is right for it to be released. So far I have four musicians either working on songs or have already delivered the songs to me, and I intend to get more in the future. 

I’ll be continuing to shoot more over the summer, and return to working on the book that I had planned to put together when I started the project. I abandoned it for the last year, and at this point I think I’m going to start it over from scratch. So I’ll be putting a lot of time into reconstructing that.

I think that covers everything that I’m working on as far as A Few Good Words is concerned. I’m working on a couple other projects at the moment, so this kind of took a back seat for a bit. Hopefully you’ll start to see more on here soon!

I have a few shows coming up that you should be able to find me with the A Few Good Words stuff relatively easily. 

I’ll be in Asbury Park for all three days of The Bamboozle Festival on May 18, 19, 20. Then on May 22 I’ll be in New York for The Wonder Years’ show in Syracuse, and for their show in NYC with The Early November on May 23. 

Once it gets closer to these shows I’ll post again with info on how to get in touch with me if you’re going to any of these (it’ll just be my twitter username, so hopefully you all use twitter!)

Some fun ones I did with my cousins. There was another photo taken that day for something really cool, but I can’t talk about it yet. Keep your eyes open  around the end of May for that.
